ABOUT SOULGASM HAWAIʻI
Founded in Honolulu by Lyanne Brooks in 2007, Soulgasm established the longest sustained monthly presence of any music and dance gathering in Hawaiʻi nightlife. Its monthly programming grew to include two residencies, including a long running late night residency, alongside special events and recurring gatherings on the neighbor islands. Soulgasm continues today through gatherings and special presentations in Hawaiʻi.
With House at its heart, Soulgasm has brought people from all walks of life together through soulful dance music, live music and vocals, dance, visual art, poetry and other forms of expression. It has featured local artists and brought world renowned DJs, musicians, singer songwriters, producers, record label owners, dance pioneers and poets to Hawaiʻi, many with significant bodies of work and international reputations within their communities. Soulgasm is home to a dedicated local and international community, with recognition throughout the wider House music and dance world.
Artistically directed by The LB Vibe and held with aloha, Soulgasm welcomes longtime supporters and those experiencing the gathering for the first time.
