SOULGASM Presents HOUSE 4 LIFE

From the birthplace of House music to Honolulu, we welcome the return of Chicago’s House 4 Life, founder Stacy Kidd, and label artist Sonny Chiba, alongside label artists Melvin Meeks and singer songwriter Tiffany Jenkins, who make their Hawaiʻi debuts.

Established in 2008 by Stacy Kidd, House 4 Life Records is an influential independent house music label focused on soulful, jackin’, funky, Afro, gospel, and jazzy House. Its prolific catalog features global house music icons like Crystal Waters, Peven Everett, Dawn Tallman, and Sheree Hicks, alongside the label’s own driving forces Stacy Kidd, Sonny Chiba, Melvin Meeks, and Tiffany Jenkins, with releases reaching dance floors across the globe. In 2015, the label’s cultural impact was further recognized when founder Stacy Kidd was inducted into the Frankie Knuckles DJ Hall of Fame.

In 2025, House 4 Life had multiple chart topping releases from Stacy Kidd, Tiffany Jenkins, and Sonny Chiba. Tiffany Jenkins’ voice shines through with a soulful, ethereal quality across her collaborations with Stacy Kidd, including “Fallin’ (Remix),” which reached #1 overall across all genres on Traxsource, including the #1 Single and #1 Soulful Record spots. Their collaboration continued with “Love” and “Let It Blow,” with the Let It Blow Collection reaching #1 on the Traxsource Album Chart and “Let It Blow (Afro Jazz Extended Mix)” finishing at #2 on the year end Top 200 Soulful House chart. Sonny Chiba & Lucid Konversations’ “No More Illusions (Genuinely Blaq Mix)” also reached #1 on Traxsource’s Top 100 Soulful House chart, while Stacy Kidd finished the year at #6 among Traxsource’s Top Artists of 2025.

Stacy Kidd:

An international DJ and music producer with more than three decades in House music, Chicago based Stacy Kidd is a three time gold selling and two time platinum selling artist. He founded House 4 Life Records in 2008, with a catalog spanning soulful, jackin, funky, afro, gospel, jazzy House and more.

Tiffany Jenkins:

A Chicago native, Kiara Lanier is a multidisciplinary artist and songwriter who performs as Tiffany Jenkins in House music. Her House 4 Life collaborations with Stacy Kidd include “Fallin’,” “Let It Blow,” “Love,” and “We Exalt Thee.” “Fallin’ (Remix)” reached #1 overall across all genres on Traxsource, including the #1 Single and #1 Soulful Record spots, while the Let It Blow Collection reached #1 on the Traxsource Album Chart.

Melvin Meeks:

A longtime Chicago house producer, Melvin Meeks has been releasing music since the 1990s, with early work on influential Chicago labels including Relief and Target Records. His catalog spans classic, jackin, soulful, and deeper forms of House, with releases on labels including House 4 Life, where he continues his work with Stacy Kidd.

Sonny Chiba:

A Chicago DJ and producer with more than 30 years in House music, Sonny Chiba describes House music as his “vibe” and a way of connecting with the soul. His work spans soulful, jackin, Afro, and electronic House, with recent releases on House 4 Life including “No More Illusions,” “Hold This Night,” “Don’t Let Go,” and “CiGNO,” his collaboration with Stacy Kidd. “No More Illusions (Genuinely Blaq Mix)” reached #1 on Traxsource’s Top 100 Soulful House chart in 2025.
